Online Energy Manager (OEM) was established in 2007 to respond to the need for efficient energy management and energy cost reduction in industrial processes and commercial buildings. Our ECORE platform uses a patented algorithm built on the thermodynamic fundamentals to optimize the chiller system operations to suit without compromising the users’ cooling requirements.

This means that our ECORE platform enables cooling systems to run at the optimum level and substantially reduce energy use and costs without affecting load requirements, operations, and occupant comfort. ECORE is ideal for commercial buildings and industrial processes with large cooling loads.

HOW IT WORKS

Harnessing the first law of thermodynamics and using machine learning, the ECORE platform dynamically determines and sets system parameters to obtain the lowest energy usage at prevailing ambient conditions. ECORE works within the chiller manufacturer specifications, thus not invalidating warranties, but simply operating the chiller system in the most energy-efficient manner as recommended by the chiller manufacturer.

The platform uses a proprietary algorithm that enables the chiller system to run closer to the manufacturer recommended flow, temperature, set points, all in line with the constantly changing load and ambient conditions. Facility managers simply set their building management system (BMS) to implement the ECORE recommendations, thereby achieving more efficient operation without changing the load requirements.
